Mark 12:26-28

²⁶ Now concerning the dead rising, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the account about the bush, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob’^[a]? ²⁷ He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living. You therefore do greatly err.”

²⁸ One of the scribes came and heard them reasoning together. Perceiving that Jesus had answered them well, he asked Him, “Which is the first commandment of all?”
